Gunnar Osteen Attorney

Gunnar is a dedicated trial lawyer who joined Webster Vicknair MacLeod in August 2025. A lifelong Texan, he grew up in Coppell before attending the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in History. While at UT Austin, Gunnar was a member of the university’s undergraduate mock trial team, where he first developed his passion for advocacy and courtroom work.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Gunnar attended the University of Houston Law Center, where he continued to refine his trial skills as a member of the UHLC National Mock Trial Team. During law school, he won numerous tournaments and advocacy awards. Notably, he and his teammates captured UHLC’s first-ever ABA Arbitration National Championship, and he was also a regional champion in the National Trial Competition. Gunnar’s success in advocacy earned him induction into the prestigious Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing excellence in advocacy, with only ten students selected per law school each year.

Before joining Webster Vicknair MacLeod, Gunnar worked at several personal injury firms in Houston, where he gained valuable experience handling catastrophic injury cases. His current practice focuses on representing clients in complex premises liability, product liability, construction injury, oilfield injury, Jones Act, and trucking collision cases, among others.

Outside of his legal work, Gunnar enjoys watching sports, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Gunnar is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
