Robbie McDonough Attorney

When bad things happen to good people, we are called to fight for them. As a legal leader, Robbie is a dedicated, client first, trial attorney who stands up for individuals, families, and organizations who have been harmed through no fault of their own. With a background in law and business, Robbie brings both fierce advocacy and strategic insight to his unique legal practice.

Robbie has served as a leader in small businesses, non-profits, and publicly traded corporations. Robbie cut his teeth in the oil and gas business as a legal executive at Crestwood Midstream Partners LP. As in-house counsel at Crestwood, he gained significant commercial transaction experience – a perspective very few trial attorneys have. Robbie provides the rare combination of courtroom advocacy and deal-making insight.

Throughout his career, Robbie has negotiated complex multi-million-dollar agreements, worked on-site at large scale environmental disasters, and obtained successful results for his clients.  This diverse experience sharpened his ability to navigate complex cases and communicate his clients’ stories clearly.

Robbie has a particular talent for making complex information accessible to all. Explaining an engineer’s technical solution is not always easy, but Robbie has successfully done so with legislators, tribal leaders, farmers, chief executives, clients, judges, and jurors alike. Whether representing victims of a contract breach, industrial accident, 18-wheeler crash, or corporate negligence, Robbie brings integrity, preparation, and a trial-ready approach to every case.

Beyond the courtroom, Robbie is a husband, a father of two, and an active volunteer in his church and community. He is also a passionate traveler, always planning the next family adventure.

Robbie obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University and his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. He was admitted into the State Bar of Texas in 2008.
