Steve is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in state and federal courts covering many different types of legal disputes. Steve has been lead counsel in over 50 cases tried to a verdict or arbitration decision. The types of cases Steve has tried are diverse: medical malpractice, legal malpractice, breach of contract, fraud, wrongful death personal injury, product liability, and securities. In addition to his active trial practice, Steve has briefed and argued more than 50 appeals in state courts of appeals, state supreme courts, and federal courts of appeals. Steve is an Associate Member of ABOTA, AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for over 25 years, a Super Lawyer for many years, and is licensed in every federal court in Texas, as well as the Fifth, Sixth, Tenth U.S. Courts of Appeals, and the US Supreme Court.
